The following process is used in upgrading or replacing computer equipment.

Computers in labs and offices are upgraded as funds become available. Decisions about which computers are replaced are made by the Computer Committee.

Certain software packages* are available to all computers at Ivy Tech. These are primarily limited to MS Office Products. If you would like to request software, please click here and fill out the support request.

You may purchase hardware and software from your departmental budget. If you want to purchase additional hardware or software out of your departmental budget, please let the informational technology staff know. Hardware and software purchases must be cleared through IT and records are kept on the types of systems available to Wabash Valley Users.

Before you make a purchase of computer equipment from your budget, please contact Bert Utterback (298-2259).
